I like these browser games reccomended by The Gadget Show. A British show about tech and such which broadcasts on Channel 5 at 8pm on monday evenings.
The first is Desktop Tower Defense (Google it) You have towers that shoop and shoot against things called creeps that invade your desktop (Not Computer a workspace one)
Second is QuakeLive.com. Its a great shooter game with lots of levels and such.

No, Quake Live is cool as it is an online FPS played INSIDE Firefox!

My favorite game sites are InstantAction (Marble Blast online yay!), Miniclip and Nitrome.
