GNOME, KDE, Xfce or other?
Your favourite desktop environment?
I have now tried GNOME, KDE and Xfce, and I can't really decide between GNOME or Xfce. They are both awesome. They are both GTK-based, so they are quite similar. KDE seems too much like Windows but it does have a nice interface.

Xfce is built on GTK, so it is kind of like GNOME, but it is lighter on resources, therefore it can run on older or less powerful machines.

GNOME is the awesomest DE of all, with KDE being the shittiest.
