External Hard Drive Empty External Hard Drive

Post by George Thu Aug 27, 2009 4:28 pm

Anyone have any External Hard Drives they recommend.

I'm looking for a Portable One (The ones powered by USB) to store all my files on.

I am mainly looking for a 320gb one but any size just under or any above it can be fine.

Im also looking for any from £0-£60.

Plus they need to be in the UK. Shops would be best. (Like ones on Comet,PcWorld,Currys Website)

Thx in advance.

Do you have one. As i heard the 320gb and other ones they come with a short usb cable. And wont work with long usb cables. You only can use the suplied cable. Is this true?

I'm using a FIREcube external hard drive which has a capacity of 1TB. I think FIREcube is Samsung, because my computer and BIOS recognize the hard drive as "SAMSUNG HD103UI".
