What builds of Windows 7 have you used.

I have used:

7100---7201----7229-----7600(Current Build)

6956, 7000, 7048, 7057, 7068, 7077, 7100, 7127, 7137, 7201, 7227, 7229, 7231, 7232, 7260, 7264, 7600.16384 and 7600.16285.

Wow Lorne. I guess you had a lot of cds. I burnt like 5 RC DVDs as it wasent working. But after 7201 for 7229 and 7600 i just extracted it and clicked setup.exe from inside. Since i also had to delete ei.cfg.

I Dual-boot and clean install. So you format your windows 7 partition. Boot into Vista. Then you can do a clean install into a seperate partition. So doing that i get to install it to a seperate partition as a clean install with no cd.

(Oh btw you know your getting a mac you should keep your vaio to use windows 8 beta.

I just said that in-case the pre-beta versions of Win 8 dont go with bootcamp.

Used only WIndows 7 RC in my virtual pc and got rid of it

ReAsons:

1. My internet is so slow that i could not even download a 3mb file
2. My Harddrive space is too low (4GB Left) to dual boot
3. I dump Windows 7 RC on my virtual pc because it is so slowww!! no Aero... Nothing.. plain slow!

No wonder you took it off virtual pc. Its slow there. You limit stuff there like internet and such. Also they disable most graphics.

well 65xx to 68xx are Pre-Alpha builds, 69xx are Alpha/Pre-Beta Builds, while 70xx are from the Beta/Pre-RC branch, lol 71xx from RC and 72xx from the RTM branch
